Studentship funding to QUB from the Northern Ireland Executive to commence PhDs in Oct 2008. 

 

Project :  Exploitation of Sendai virus as a vector for RSV vaccine antigens and to study RSV/host interactions.  The eligibility criteria are indicated below:

 

To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

  • have, or expect to obtain, at least a 2.1 honours degree (or its equivalent); and
  • be ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands (since 1 October 2005).  For non-UK EU applicants, ordinary residency can include full-time education.

 

Awards are available from October 2008, and cover University fees and a maintenance allowance of £12,940 per annum, for 3 years.
